Jim Black is the Chief Financial Officer / Partner of Vantex Commercial Property Group (formerly Vantage Houston, LLC). His responsibilities encompass the positioning of existing assets for financing or sale, project development, additional acquisitions and financial and asset management. He works closely with CEO Steve Jaggard in determining development and investment opportunities and identifying investor partners. Mr. Black is also responsible for the financial management and operations of Vantex.

Mr. Black joined Vantage Companies Dallas office in 1989 where he worked in the area of asset management and investment analysis with responsibilities including the direction of business development and project development activities. He moved to the Houston office of Vantage in 2003.

Mr. Black holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri and a Master of Business Administration degree with emphasis on Real Estate Finance from Southern Methodist University, Dallas. Texas.

He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas.”
